Mount Shasta's
Friends of Tibetan Culture
is a non-profit 501(c)3 tax exempt public charity
Our purpose is to enrich our community by providing a direct experience of Tibetan culture and traditions for all ages. We provide interaction with filmmakers, educators, and artists representing the finest examples of Tibetan Culture.
Our goals include helping eliminate prejudice and discrimination, promoting a non-violent community, preserving traditional Tibetan Culture, and making these events financially accessible to every attendee.

2025
We have reserved a venue and the artist for:

(Mount Shasta)
September 13th - 21st
We are investigating schedules and costs with the intention of
inviting other artists and educators. A schedule will be posted as it develops.

We are investigating venues and coordinating with Ven. Losang Samten for:
Kālacakra 2026 Project
(Sand Mandala)
(Mount Shasta)
Date TBA
This endeavor will take a minimum of four weeks and will include relevant teachings and a retreat. Kālacakra means "wheel of time" or "time cycles". "Kālacakra" is also the name of a series of Buddhist texts and a major practice in Tibetan and Indian Buddhism.
